Mike Fisher has won the heart of Carrie Underwood, and broken our own. The Ottawa Senators hockey player and country singer is engaged to be married, according to Mike himself.
Carrie and Mike have been dating for about a year. The athlete, 29, reportedly popped the question to the Nashville-based Songbird in his native Canada on Sunday.
Teammate Sens‘ Chris Neil, Mike Fisher said, he called with the news.
“I think it is great news. It’s a long time in coming. It will be a lot of broken hearts in Ottawa with all the girls who are in love with Mikey,” said Neil.
And although they have not set a wedding date. I `m pretty sure I’ll have to wait at least until summer. Unless they did some kind of a quickie Vegas wedding. No matter how or when they marry, I wish you a lifetime of happiness.
