Ricky Ponting and Michael Clarke criticized centuries as Australia hit back in the last two sessions to take the spoils in a day of the third test against Pakistan in Hobart.
The duo met with the home side in trouble at 3-71 after dismissing Michael Hussey before pushing for a total of 3-302 at stumps – an unbeaten partnership of 231 runs. Ponting ended the day on 137 not out while Clarke was 111 not out.
