Chris Brown does not perform in a tribute concert for Michael Jackson in Austria, contrary to the statements of the promoters, a person familiar with the situation Wednesday. A publicist for Mary J. Blige, also promoted by the show, said it will not be there.
Brown never has pledged to act in concert in Vienna, said the person, who was not authorized to speak publicly and requested anonymity. Karynne Tencer, a publicist for Blige said on Wednesday he wanted to attend the concert on 26 September, but had another commitment.
The organizers at a press conference in Vienna on Tuesday to the press that Brown, Blige, Natalie Cole and Akon were among the artists confirmed.
Cole’s spokeswoman Maureen O’Connor said the singer had discussed with the organizers, but may have a conflict and is not 100 percent confirmed. In Akon’s representatives did not immediately return messages left Wednesday.

The concert is being billed as the leading worldwide tribute to the King of Pop, who died June 25 in Los Angeles.
Jermaine Jackson also said he hoped that Stevie Wonder would take part in the show, taking place in front of a 17th century palace in the Austrian capital.
