  1. This is the BEST blog! The book reviews are very insightful, and I’ve enjoyed several books based on on the reviewers comments! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!

  2. Good information source but not for the genres I am interested in. If you are into Sci Fi, graphic novels, crime thrillers you’ll probably love this.

  4. Bookgasm is like your favorite independent neighborhood bookstore of days gone by – the kind that carries the coolest titles that you absolutely love but would never stumble upon yourself, and with knowledgeable clerks who are walking/talking encyclopedias of classic, pop and indie literature.

It’s not a book store, really. More like a “book club” that clues you in on the best book titles available and points you in the right direction.

The reviews are crisp and concise – like short articles on USA Today, but written much, much better. And the range of book titles and authors presented is impressive. There’s even a cool sort feature that lets you easily access an archive of old reviews of authors you enjoy. And the weekly contest – it’s oh so easy to participate and the odds of winning are better than you’d think.

In short, if you had to pick one site to help you cobble together a reading list and keep on top of the morass of “what’s out there,” Bookgasm would be it. It’s 5-star fantastic!!
