Angelina Jolie, who has finished filming scenes for his upcoming movie great action movie “salt”, is now available for the project, and from October 12 MTV Movie News reported that the UN ambassador could be ready glam to assume his next proposed film challenge:
A year ago, looked like a remake of Jerome Salle French thriller “Anthony Zimmer” was ready to begin filming in early 2009 with Tom Cruise and starring Charlize Theron and Bharat Nalluri ( “The Crow: Salvation”) address. All players have passed their hats however. The Hollywood Reporter brings word that Theron is out and potentially be replaced by Angelina Jolie.
The English-language redo, which is entitled “The Tourist” Cruise had been replaced by “Terminator Salvation” actor Sam Worthington. Nalluri also reportedly out of film and producers looking for a director who will work well with Jolie. Interestingly, the female half of Brangelina has just completed shooting the action / thriller “Salt,” for which he had replaced Cruise in the genre of role switching.
Jolie is somewhat surprising that the film would be a similar project, since both are thrillers in which he plays an international agent of some kind. For the “salt”, which plays an American spy whose loyalty is called into question. In the seemingly Hitchcock as “The Tourist”, which will play an Interpol agent gone undercover to catch a criminal who is also her former lover. The title refers to an innocent American who is drawn into the case.
No stranger to the action heavy paper, “The Tourist” should be “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” that “Lara Croft: Tomb Raider”. Thank God. Who would not rather see Jolie as a balloon sexy-police than Charlize Theron, after “Aeon Flux” and “Hancock”, has yet to prove worthy of action roles?
